Kilimanjaro Wildlife is a direct importers of Zebra skins.  Many retailers purchase their zebra skin rugs directly from us.

Equus Burchelli, the African Zebra, is not endangered or illegal to sell or own in the United States.  Zebra skin rugs are allowed to sell and owned in United States if legally imported by the company that hold US Fish and Wildlife license and the entire import and export permit.

Grading. Each zebra skin rug has its own characteristics as to the quality and size. Some of these rugs have felting on the back and some do not. It depends on what you want your rug to be like.

Grade A Felted Zebra Skin Rug

These are the most pristine rugs we offer, these are what we call close to perfect, but they are not always available. Please call for your request or email us.  $1650. 

Grade A Non-felted Zebra Skin

These are also the most pristine rugs we offer. They are not felted. These are always available in our stock. $1450.

Grade B Felted Zebra Skin Rug

These zebra rugs have very few scars and repairs; please don’t hesitate to buy this. They are the most popular rugs in our stock. Most people prefer the felted because back felting adds to the beauty of the rug and hides any scars or repairs. $1550. 

Grade B Non-felted Zebra Skin

These zebra rugs are still very beautiful.  You can not reveal the scars or repairs till you pay very close attention. The quality is very close to A grade skin rug. $1350.

Grade C Zebra Skin Rug

These zebra skin rug have noticeable scars and repairs. Just keep in mind that they are still beautiful skin rugs, but you can not compare them to A or B grade. This type of quality is very good for the cost conscious.  They are also good to make zebra skin items such as pillows, furniture and pastries. They are in high demand please call or email us. $999.
